SPECIAL PROJECTS MANAGER: CORPORATE AFFAIRS - GROUP• Event Management - Manage the Corporate Affairs departmental events for the group, including: Annual and Interim Results, Directors Strategy, Head Office Events, Empowerment and BBBEE, Enterprise and Supplier Development, Environment and Corporate Eventso Make event bookings with the various unitso Check that the correct rates are quoted and sign contractso Make sure costs are in line with budgeto Contact unit teams and make them aware of evento Make accommodation reservations for team travellingo Schedule meetings with unit staff to discuss event in deptho Manage event programme on the dayo Guest relations officer for the Directors at their annual strategy evento Prepare event checklist pack from start to finish (incl. budget schedule, hotel contract, email backup, quote, invoice, event schedule, attendance register)• In-house ESD programmes (Tsogo Sun Entrepreneurs Programme and HCI “Hosken Consolidated Investment - Tsogo Shareholders”)o Travel and interview participants who have applied for the programmeo Compile scoring for interviews, select the new entrepreneurs together with the panelso Prepare the TSE handbook and programme for inductiono Manage the TSE and HCI databases ensuring the integrity of the datao Manage the TSE and HCI social mediao Manage the submission of TSE and HCI documents for BBBEE verificationso Editor of HCI Supplier Club quarterly newslettero Manage HCI membership renewals• Overallo Corporate Affairs and Office Managemento Build and maintain relationships with: GM’s and teams at various units; HCI subsidiary companies; outsourced suppliers; programme partners; sponsorso Manage corporate prizeletterso Prepare and update event calendarso Attend meetings on behalf of GM of Corporate Affairs when necessaryo Come up with innovative ideas in order to assist the department to run smoothlyo Manage internal/departmental events (birthdays, lunches, baby showers)
