Hayley Donovan is the Visual Director and co-founder of The Concept Studio. The agency was born as a result of the collective drive and belief in a brand that encompasses passion, motivation and a shared vision, which is an ethos that both Hayley and her business partner; Siân Roberts share.Hayley has over 20 years experience within the Visual Merchandising and Creative Industry and has established a highly successful career specialising in Visual Merchandising and concept design alongside companies ranging from small start-ups to multi million pound brands within young fashion, contemporary mid market, premium brands and department stores. Hayley has designed, project managed and delivered new brand concepts and store builds within the UK and international markets. This included layout planning, fixture and store interior design, material specification sign off, technical drawings, procurement and manufacture. Alongside this, Hayley designed and directed photoshoots across Womenswear, Menswear, Sleepwear, Lingerie and Childrenswear, as well as designing and implementing new brand packaging, marketing and POS collateral. One of Hayleys greatest achievements was the re design of the new British Home Store brand concept within her first 6 months in the role. Hayley started off her career in Wallis as a London Field Visual Merchandiser and quickly went on to become the Visual Manager at Topshop’s flagship store in Oxford Circus. It was at Topshop that Hayley met Siân, where they worked alongside each other for over 4 years. It became quickly apparent that they shared a drive, chemistry and vision that combined resulted in a very unique and successful partnership.After a promotion to Global Brand (and later Senior Global Brand) Visual Manager in Wallis, Hayley moved on to Jaeger as Head of Visual Merchandising; gaining experience in a more premium market outside of the Arcadia Group. Hayleys next strategic step was to move to a new start up company; British Home Store International, as Global Head of Visual Merchandising & Creative; before finally moving on to her and Siâns long planned business venture.
