Coles is one of Australia’s largest retailers, has 125,000 team members working over 2,500 Supermarket, Liquor and Fuel retail outlets nationally supporting 21 million customer transactions each week.Taking some ‘culture’ elements of my previous Head of Organisation Development role and combing them with formal accountability for Culture Strategy, Employee Listening, On/Cross/Offboarding, mycoles (a company-wide intranet and communications platform) and end-to-end responsibility for Learning and Development, I led a team of 20 and managed a $25m budget to help navigate and support the business through a global pandemic and uplift the organisation capability to delivery on our business strategy.

My primary responsibilities were for the Build Great Careers strategy and alignment across the HR Leadership Team, setting and socialising the overall strategy for leadership development across Coles and leading the leadership development team in executing against it, and providing organisation design support as required across the business.

My primary responsibilities involved collaborating with clients to measurably improve business performance through strategic insight, people transformation, operating model and process improvement, outsourcing and technology implementation. I led numerous teams working on global projects for leading, multi-national companies across Australia in the financial services, telecommunications, government and retail industries.My specialisation was Human Capital and responsibilities included both sales and delivery of a pipeline of work. I was formally recognised for contributions to the firm through fast tracked promotions and I held numerous practice and account leadership roles including Industry Talent & Organisation Expert Network Lead, ANZ Change Management Expert Network Lead, ANZ Change Measurement Lead, Women’s Network Lead, and Account Talent Development Lead.
