The Schools Access Monash (SAM) program focuses on increasing students' understanding of higher education. The program provides tutors to schools with a significant number of students from disadvantaged backgrounds or low rates of university progression. As a SAM tutor I provided assistance to students in Business Studies. This involved preparing for SACS and exams, teaching unit objectives and setting homework tasks.
