Rotating through medical specialties including: Rheumtology; Gastroenterology; Acute Medicine; Emergency Medicine; and Cardiology. Permanently settled in gastroenterology since January 2023 developing a specialist interest in the hepatology service.

This role involved working as a Project Manager to develop the use of Physician Associates in cancer care pathways acroos Wessex. From initial expression of interest we educated teams regarding what roles Physician Associates can perfrom and where they might enhance a service. We were involved in recruitment processes and introduction of the new role to departments across the surgical specialties including breast, urology, gynaecology and colorectal services. Evaluation methods were developed once Physician Associates were in post to demonstrate their impact and support in ongoing development in relevant services.

I worked as a part time locum Cardiac Physiologist alongside my MSc studies. Responsibilities include: ECG, Amublatory ECG fitting and analysis, ETT and bradycardia pacemaker follow up. I am also competent in cardiac angiography, PCI, rotablation and aortic balloon pump implantation but have not yet had the opportunity in my role as a locum to perform these.

Employed as a full time cardiac physiologist fully competent and independent in: ECG, paediatric ECG, amublatory ECG fitting and analysis, ambulatory BP fitting and analysis, ETT, cardiac angiography, complex PCI, CTO procedures, rotablation, aortic balloon pump and temporary wire implantation as well as bradycardia pacemaker follow up. Additionally I worked as part of the on-call Primary PCI team dealing with complex patient's with STEMI and cardiac arrest.
