My role involves sourcing and writing business stories, uploading and managing content on the website and helping to run the brand's social media channels.

Reporter working across a number of magazines and newspapers for customers in the public and private sectors. I worked with employees at all levels to produce award-winning customer and internal publications, some of which were for international companies and distributed worldwide. Helped to launch new publications for major customers and had sole responsibility for the content management of a number of magazines.Dealt with press inquiries for a large NHS Trust as part of a public relations service. This included crisis management, preparing staff for media interviews, copy writing and producing press release.Worked for national newspapers and magazines as part of a press agency conducting inquiries, investigations and attending court cases and inquests.Produced scripts for Augmented Reality videos.

I quickly worked my way from being a trainee reporter to a senior reporter for the sixth best selling regional newspaper in the country. I proved I could seek out and produce compelling copy while working to tight deadlines without compromising quality and accuracy.During my time at the paper I covered a wide variety of new stories including major court cases, drugs raids, industrial action and royal visits as well as many business, property and health features. Good relationships I built up with my contacts allowed me to produce numerous other timely and interesting news stories and follow-ups. My role saw me travel across the country and abroad to cover stories for the paper. I spent a year working on the business desk and later became the only reporter with responsibility for running the desk in the absence of the business editor. This work also involved page design and producing an electronic newsletter.I was also asked to manage a number of initiatives from an editorial perspective including charity campaigns, award schemes and coordinating local election coverage.Day-to-day work involved dealing with local residents, businesses and organisations, attending press conferences, magistrates and crown courts, inquests, council meetings, conducting vox pops, face-to-face and phone interviews and coordinating photo shoots.
