Responsible for the correct recording of attendance for every pupil on role.Ensure both AM & PM registers are taken.Inform parents via text system if students do not arrive.Record absent marks/reasons.Run a late & signing in/out book.Ensure registers and other important tasks are completed each day in line with fire procedures.First point of contact for parents, pupils and visitors.Answer internal and external phone calls and distribute calls/messages correctly and efficiently.Various administration duties.Manage exclusions on the facility system.Run various daily/weekly reports such as weekly attendance percentage, registers with missing marks and individual attendance reports for students.Liaise with the Headteacher and his PA to record holiday requests and inform parents of decisions.Manage detentions- this includes punishment for poor punctuality or for incidents recorded in classrooms.Ensure the schools safe guarding policy and procedures are followed correctly.
