After working at ComplyWorks for nearly 2 years I gained lots of industry knowledge and experience. My role was split up between project management and quality assurance. As a project manager I worked closely with developers on a number of different projects using technology such as GitLab, slack, and the MS office suit including MS Projects. I led the team scrum meetings for a number of months, using data collected in GitLab, I created useful analytics that were shared with the team on a daily basis. The Quality Analyst portion of my role included a variety of roles and responsibilities. Everyday I reviewed, submitted, and tested bugs and new product enhancements within the application. I was part of many large product launches which I tested throughout the whole development process. I provided feedback on the solution and helped problem solve issues with the UI/UX and flow of the solution. Having tested the majority of new products and fixes within the system I quickly became an expert in most areas of the application. With this knowledge I helped with training, user guide creation, and assisted customer service reps and client managers with customer/client issues.
