I have been in Christchurch since May 2020 - a move that was planned before the turmoil that was Covid19, this slight obstacle slightly hindered my job prospects with little out there and so many applications, but my determination and perserverance landed me an exceptional role working in the Roofing industry.However, after the birth of my baby I decided to follow my passion and finish my Bachelor of Arts degree, major in Educational Psychology with minors in Te Reo Maori and Linguistics froom Massey University to having previously completed the New Zealand Diploma in Business majoring in Accounting. I am currently working at FreshChoice Barrington part time while I focus on my degree.Before moving I was employed by Fire Equipment Hawkes Bay Ltd and Gasworkz DiveEast Ltd. As part of my role within both companies, I co-coordinated the Health and Safety meetings and other documentation, this has also increased my knowledge with relevant legislation. I also took on on digital marketing in this role, with an overall goal of increasing both companies online social media presence. I believe in building an excellent rapport with customers so I really enjoy that interaction. I thrive on any opportunity to further my professional career and embrace any guidance to grow into a more developed role and with my strong organisational skills and creative mind I believe this will happen.
