In 2021 I graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Scholars Program). I am now completing my Masters of Secondary Education with the hope of teaching junior and senior Science/Biology and Visual Arts. I am also a practising artist with a passion for working with the public on creative endeavours and collaborative projects. I have a GPA of 3.75 and can demonstrate active co-curricular involvement in parallel with my studies. My professional experience includes extensive customer service experience gained in part-time and causal roles, biomedical research experience through my involvement in the Monash Biomedical Science Scholars Program, and artistic experience through my participation in the City of Melbourne's SIGNAL youth program. I have also held leadership roles during my time at St Hilda’s School and participated extensively in various volunteering programs throughout my university studies. I currently run my own private tutoring business, in which I tutor high school students across QLD, NSW, and VIC in various subjects as outlined by the Australian curriculum (Maths, English, Science, Biology, Visual Arts). Since 2022 I have also worked for the private tutoring company Novicate Academy as a content creator. In this position I apply my creativity skills to design easily-understandable and engaging lesson booklets, exams, and other learning resources for VCAA students.My experience as an artist includes facilitating creative workshops for both adults and children and participating in public group exhibitions. Most recently, I contributed to 'Uncommon Threads', a collaborative group exhibition of textile artists from Victoria. This show was exhibited in late 2023 at the Fortyfivedownstairs art gallery in Melbourne. As an artist, I also manage my own online art business, Smilefully Art, through which I sell my watercolour designs in the form of commissions, greeting cards, and tea towels. In the future I aim to expand this business to offer art-therapy based activities and well-being workbooks for both adults and children. I am seeking an opportunity in an internship or part-time position, where I can develop my skills and experience as an artist and educator. I have a strong interest in art therapy and working with children. I can offer my future employer well developed interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and a results orientation.
