I am the Program Director for our innovative Certified Advocate Partners Program, an alternative model of providing legal services to Utahns in need of protective orders. I wrote the application for the program to be licensed through the Utah Supreme Court's "Regulatory Sandbox," and have implemented the program by training and overseeing victim advocates throughout Utah as they provide legal services to victims of crime in need of protective orders and stalking injunctions.

My work focuses on expanding access to justice throughout the state of Utah. I work with survivors of domestic violence and low-income individuals on their family law cases in which they represent themselves pro se. I support our hotline, document clinic, and legal advice clinics.I help to serve Utah's Third Judicial District, which covers Summit, Salt Lake, and Tooele counties.I also serve as the Grants Director to secure funding. We are a non-profit and never charge for our services.

I assisted low-income persons and victims of crime in preparing family law court documents and preparing them for hearings in which they would be representing themselves. Additionally, I helped to develop our online legal advice clinic, which is held weekly, implementing processes to help streamline services.

Completed civil motions, research memos, and letters for clients who lost a family member to homicide. Cases focused on wrongful death, family, and estate matters. Managed multiple projects simultaneously.

Worked with both the Director of Academic Advisement and Development and the Dean of Students to improve the Academic Development Program and keep them informed of first-year students' concerns. Advised upper-level students and mentored them in law school skills. Oversaw Student Advisors and assisted them in finding solutions to individual problems.

Worked with the Executive Committee to host international delegates at the annual International Law and Religion Symposium and ensured a positive environment. Co-chaired the Transportation Subcommittee.
