I assist on various projects for Teach First such as delivery to ITTs at Summer Institute, delivery for first and second year ECTs, marking of subject knowledge audits for prospective maths teachers, coaching participants through the subject knowledge enhancement programme (for mathematics) and marking NPQLTs.

Leading the team of Associate Tutors delivering sessions to Teach First ITT students at their residential training course (Summer Institute). This involved leading on the recruitment process and overseeing and supporting Associate Tutors with the design and delivery of their sessions.

Supported in the delivery of initial teacher training to Teach First participants at Summer Institute (Teach First's residential training programme). This included designing and delivering training sessions on both subject specific and general pedagogy as well as topics such as classroom management both in collaboration with colleagues and on my own.

Working to promote higher education among under-represented groups, both at the University of York specifically and at higher education institutions more generally.Responsibilities included planning and delivering on-campus visits for groups of school or college children, liaising with academics and teachers regarding up-coming events, assisting with the planning and delivery of large-scale projects such as residential visits and programme launches, training Student Ambassadors, representing the University brand at local and national higher education fairs, collating and analysing feedback from University-run events, delivering talks to prospective students and/or their parents about various aspects of University life during recruitment events and general administration duties.
