I am a senior multi-market digital advertising sales manager at Bahakel Digital, the digital advertising arm of Bahakel Communications. I work primarily with the company's flagship television property, WCCB-TV, out of the Charlotte office, but I also work on corporate projects, including product development and pricing, as well as help other stations within the Bahakel Digital group with campaign strategy. We specialize in OTT/CTV advertising, programmatic display and video, programmatic digital audio, geofencing, SEM/PPC, targeted email marketing, Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns, and LinkedIn ad campaigns. WCCB also offers branded content opportunities, station digital assets sponsorships (including our mobile app and weather app), and contests that are phenomenal for lead generation. From my first full year at the company in 2018 compared to 2022, my local team had 280% digital advertising revenue growth.

I wrote copy for clients'​ websites, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, book summaries, sales letters, etc., utilizing SEO tactics when appropriate and creating engaging content that flowed well and effectively conveyed the client's message.I also wrote the occasional guest blog post for sites like Dear English Major and BradBridges.net.

I edited fiction manuscripts, providing feedback both on grammatical errors as well as broader literary concerns such as plot, character, etc. as well as nonfiction content such as blog posts, website copy, etc.In addition, I edited resumes and curated LinkedIn profile content for job seekers and working professionals.

I handled research for two stations, WXLV ABC45 and WMYV My48, using data from Nielsen, comScore (formerly Rentrak), Griffin Media Research, AdMall, Kantar Market Advisor, etc. I also managed some of the logistics for station projects such as charity partnerships, events, contests, etc. and served as a liaison between the sales and promotions departments. In addition, I served as the stations' digital marketing specialist, consulting with the account executives about their clients' needs and helping shepherd digital projects.

I helped my clients, who were business owners, marketing directors, etc., get in front of their target customers/clients/patients using television and digital marketing. My favorite projects were those where I had the opportunity to exercise my creativity to create a unique multi-platform branding campaign for a business.

I managed social media accounts (including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn), blog, and public relations queries for local entrepreneur to promote her professional speaking and coaching business.In addition, I updated the intern instruction manual to better reflect the duties of the position and assisted my supervisor with creative Internet marketing projects. I also copyedited the manuscripts for two books for spelling, grammar, and style.
