Responsible for delivering and supporting accurate banking, thanking and reconciliation of all fundraising income, ensuring that supporters were stewarded appropriately and made to feel valued.

I worked within Income and Operations, a branch of the Supporter Relations team at Mind.My principal role was to bank, thank and reconcile donations from supporters through a wide range of channels. With options including but not limited to web, phone, postal, direct debits and online platforms such as JustGiving and Virgin Money Giving, it was a busy but rewarding job! While my core daily tasks remained the same, there was always a new story to hear, a different supporter to engage with and many people to thank for helping us ensure that everybody that has a mental health problem gets both support and respect.

I spent a fantastic year working for a forward-thinking innovative brand specialising in fashion for Tall Women. In my time there I assisted my Merchandiser in running the Jerseywear, Knitwear and Woven Tops Departments. My time at The Disney Store culminated in being promoted to Assistant Merchandiser. Along with my Merchandiser, I was responsible for multi-million pound turnover departments and gained extra responsibilities including: - Analyzing and reporting the previous week’s sales performance and relaying my feedback to Senior Management in the Weekly Trade meeting. - Directly working on the departmental WSSI, looking at sales forecasting, margin rate budgets and OTB, as well as stock into markdown to achieve Operating Income. - Forecasting, and working with vendors to ensure stock moved in the most cost effective way for the business.- Working with my direct report to ensure intake was accurate, as well as overseeing other weekly tasks. Together, we regularly analyzed departmental trends and lessons learnt to help grow and develop the business. - Liasing weekly with the team in North America and the Global Head Office to ensure our planning goals were aligned, supplying supportive data to help influence future planning decisions.- Management of hit planning and purchasing replenishment stock.- Working with teams at our warehouse and in store to ensure we are efficiently counting key SKUs to limit loss prevention.

I transitioned from Distributor to Merchandising Assistant, where I gained a much more holistic view of the Merchandising process within retail. I also saw my Excel and analytical skills particularly strengthen here. I was responsible for:- Learning about the the functioning of Range Plans, WSSIs, Order Trackers and Flows. - Tracking inventory into our DC by liaising with vendors and working closely with the Buying team, maximising sales potential across our stores. - Performing sizing analysis and planning Hits and Distros of stock with our vendors- Taking on a more primary role in monitoring key franchises of our department.

I joined the company as a Distributor, managing the flow of stock for a department with an annual turnover of +£40m. My first full-time role gave me opportunities including the following: - Overseeing planning of stock for business priority promotions into our European stores. - Successfully manipulating our systems to ensure the right amount of stock arrived at the right time to maximise sales and MMU. -Visiting our Rome stores to ensure the Distribution process ran more smoothly and to view the refit of our flagship Rome store.-Heading to Milan in September 2014 to discuss our Q1 Distribution plan. -Attending important trade meetings in absence of my manager.- Training new starters on systems and procedures.

I took on this role to supplement my University studies. Whilst here I provided:- Excellent customer service- Stock taking, data entry, telephone etiquette and independent shop supervision.- Training a new staff member.

This role was particularly important in my work experience growth. I took on more hours, more responsibility and learned many vital keys skills including:- High quality customer service- Delivering workshops independently to the entire store- Authorising Barclays Partner Finance and mobile phone contract activation- 'Genius Bar' appointment management - Becoming Personal Setup mentor for my colleagues. At peak times I would be supervising setting up Apple products for up to 8 people at one given time.

My First ever job was important for character building and learning new skills. Here I learnt the following:- Developing my customer service etiquette by providing Personal Shopper style treatment to everyone.- Often running the concession on my own meaning multi-tasking, remaining calm and optimising my organisation skills.
