Accomplishments in Performance: 3 years Solo Flugelhorn with Arkansas Musicworks Brassband, winner of the 2018 US Open2 performances with the National Intercollegiate Band, auditions accepted from any college musician in the Nation. 1 performance with the Arkansas Intercollegiate Band2 years Principal Trumpet with the Arkansas Tech University Symphonic Wind Ensemble2 years Principal Trumpet with Diamond Brass Quintet In her Final Performance with Arkansas Tech University’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Hayley served as a trumpet soloist in a performance of Dr. Paul Dooley’s Nationally acclaimed “Coast of Dreams”. Hayley’s performance of this 8 minute 38 second movement trumpet solo now serves as Dr. Dooley’s official reference recording for the piece and can be found on his website. Dr. Dooley is the December, 2015 recipient of the National Band Association Revelli Award for his composition, ”Masks and Machines” also performed by the Arkansas Tech University Symphonic Wind Ensemble in the Fall of 2015.
