- Configured a field tool for digital data collection for the Porirua Heritage List Review. Developed a dashboard tool to visualise the results of the field work. Porirua City Council 2019- Lead the technical GIS components of the Pre-1930 Character Area Review including the data management, configuration of field data collection and online story map/dashboard application build. The dashboards and story map application were delivered to Wellington City Council for use in consultation. Created efficiencies during the application build stage by including automation aspects through programming knowledge. Wellington City Council 2018-2019- Responsible for the GIS data management, plan set and plant schedule creation, and management of online data services for the Landscape Architecture and Ecology aspects of the Transmission Gully Project. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I was awarded a Callaghan Innovation Summer Scholarship for a summer internship with ThunderMaps. In my software developer position here I was searching for interesting geodata feeds and making these accessible to the public via a web/mobile application. I found this position very challenging, however, this enabled me to develop my programming skills dramatically.During my time at ThunderMaps I successfully:– Tripled the number of GeoData feeds available on the ThunderMaps application, extending the client base to Australia, the United States and other countries.– Developed Python scripts to parse XML/RSS/HTML feeds which were then processed by Google Maps API. Scripts were added and modified remotely via SSH.
