Having volunteered with Monthly Dignity for almost 2 years, I have decided to take on my Co-Director position full-time. In this new role, with support from Women and Gender Equality (WAGE) Canada and Food Banks Canada, I:- Support the management and oversight of all our educational and awareness programming - Collaboratively create various workshops on menstrual equity and help deliver them to community partners, schools in Montreal, etc.- Provide organizational oversight by maintaing the Board of Directors, developing fundraising strategies, managing finances, inventory, etc.- Help lead volunteer and staff recruitment and engagement efforts

Project Coordinator for the one-year project called Convene & Collaborate: Advancing Menstrual Equity through Strengthening Partnerships and Knowledge Exchange. The project aims to build community within Canadian gender justice movements by conducting community consultations to improve the CHARMS social/activism platform and creating more opportunities for collaboration and, secondly, creating opportunities for skills sharing, networking, and reciprocal learning. My responsibilities include planning and facilitating meetings and workshops, writing and editing reports on the project, and conducting research in order to help improve the CHARMS platform and its utility for activist coalition- and community-building

Working under Dr. Megan Bradley to conduct research on the advocacy and public policy related to miscarriages, leveraging the reproductive justice framework. Core tasks include creating research memos, annotated bibliographies, and literature reviews.

Worked a contract for Oxfam US to create a digital rights policy compendium for use by Oxfam International. In conjunction with Oxfam, the Institute for Health and Social Policy (IHSP) and the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies (IGSF), we analyzed, revised, and added to Oxfam's existing statements and policies related to rights in a digital age, with gender-based analysis as a priority throughout. The main pillars addressed include access and equity, security and digital civic space, responsible data use and privacy, the future of work, governance, and COVID-19 and future pandemics.

I am currently working on two ongoing research projects:1) Conducting research for a MINDS grant to examine the ways that militaries around the globe are preparing for and responding to climate change, with a strong focus on the ways these plans seek to target/protect certain groups (e.g., women, the elderly, children/youth, Indigenous populations)2) Research project on Women, Peace and Security and Natural Resource Management. - Working with the Social Assistance Strategy and Transformation Branch (Strategy and Integration Unit) of the Social Assistance Policy, Planning, and Innovation Division- The branch is responsible for leading the transformation of Ontario's social assistance system

- Worked with Laurier's Social Entrepreneur in Residence to consult with university faculty and staff about improving and promoting social entrepreneurship programs at Laurier.- Supported Chair of the Department of Global Studies and the Social Entrepreneur in Residence with administrative tasks- Created social media content and completed other communications-related tasks

- Helped undergraduate students with their teaching and facilitation strategies, their ability to give and receive feedback, their ability to teach as part of a team, and their communications skills- Ran the workshops for the Foundations in Teaching and Learning Certificate- Evaluated student learning and provided detailed feedback

- Worked towards helping Laurier students on their journeys to becoming better writers through one-on-one appointments and workshops, assisting undergraduate and graduate students with writing structure, flow, grammar, and more.- Helped design and run a program to make writing services more accessible to international students during the pandemic

- Provided customer service to outgoing and incoming exchange students, promotions, and administrative work in the Laurier International office to support the student exchange program in addition to other international and international at-home programming- Worked to interview and train Global Engagement Student Ambassadors and support re-strategizing in the age of COVID-19.

- Provided assistance in planning and developing War Child's Student engagement strategy, materials, messaging, and online tools- Created standard procedures, policies, and activities for ratifying and running a War Child student club- Lead, coordinated, and moderated a student roundtables/focus groups for feedback on engagement strategies

Refugee Protection Division (RPD)- Checked refugee claimants in for their refugee protection hearings- Maintained hearing rooms and assisted Members- Wrote and sent out Notices to Appear for refugee protection hearings- Ensured the IRB's RPD database was up-to-date with the most recent and accurate refugee claimant information- Revised hearing transcripts and put together hearing packages for the Higher Court
