As an illustrator at Alaska Structures, I illustrated technical manuals for the construction of fabric shelter systems. This involved in-depth research, drawing from many sources: communicating with engineers, technical writers, and other higher-ups. The necessity for accuracy required detail-oriented work, and the constantly developing designs require fast learning. Utilizing Adobe Illustrator, I create new illustrations and repurposed existing ones in order to meet the fast-pace demands and strict deadlines to optimize customer satisfaction.

As Art Production Assistant, my duties ranged from office work and errands to managing 25 interns, creating props and set materials, and coordinating with the rest of the Art Department and the Production Office to ensure that sets were delivered smoothly and in a timely manner.

I quickly learned the intricacies of the Conference in order to work with other Student Volunteers and assist professionals in industries ranging from animation and entertainment to science and engineering from all over the world.

I created an animated short titled "UnapPEELing", in which a villainous banana seeks revenge on the teenager who slandered him. From script, storyboards, and character design to backgrounds, animation, and compositing, I was responsible for every part of this.
