Alan Hayman managed the Restaurant Sales and Strategies business unit and was responsilbe for sales and support to all US based restaurant chains. His team focused primarily on major and regional restauarant chains incuding table service and quick service operators. In addition, he initiated the sales of Micros solutions to the US government including the military. After a successful startup, a new division was started. In addition, Alan managed a number of sigificant relatioships in the college and university technology market including forging partnerships with Blackboard (BBBB) and CBord.After Micros acquired Hayman Systems in 1999, Alan Hayman became Regional Vice President and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2001. He was later appointed Executive Vice President and served as an officer of the company. In June, 2006, he retired from Micros Systems, Inc.

With my partner, we bought the company from MICROS Systems, Inc. (MCRS) and after growing its sales to over $5 million dollars sold the company back to Micros in December, 1999.

After graduating from the Boston Univeristy- School of Management he joined the family cash register business. Partnering with family members. Hayman Systems grew to become on the largest and highest volume Point-of-Sale dealer in the US. Alan served in many capacities but primarily as VP of Sales and Marketing. After 62 years, and growth to approximatley $10 million dollars annually, Micros Systems acquired Hayman Systems in December, 1999.
