Dr. Saydaliev is an expert in macro-finance, public finance, financial analysis, and quantitative modeling. His research primarily focuses on the interconnections between financial development, firm performance, and economic development. His areas of expertise include development economics, macroeconomics, monetary economics, fiscal policy, fiscal federalism, taxation, banking and financial crises, financial regulation, access to financial services and inclusion, as well as SME finance and the allocation of financial resources at both corporate and individual levels. He excels in data Science with experience of extracting, processing and modeling data quantitative analysis, providing insightful, data-driven recommendations to drive strategic decision-making in financial and economic policy.Dr. Saydaliev holds a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, and currently serves as a Senior Consultant at KPMG in Tashkent. He previously served as the Head of the Macroeconomic Analysis and Policy Department at the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (formerly known as the Institute for Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research under the Ministry of Economy and Finance). Additionally, he is an Affiliated Researcher at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Dr. Saydaliev has also been an adjunct professor at the London School of Economics, Kazakh British Technical University, Tashkent State University of Economics, and the National University of Uzbekistan. His past consultancy experience includes projects with UNESCO, the International Labour Organization (ILO), GIZ, UNDP, UNCTAD, and the World Bank (WB). Dr. Saydaliev has contributed to highly respected Development Economics journals, including Economic Systems (SSCI, Q1), Economic Analysis and Policy (SSCI, Q1), Resources Policy (SSCI, Q1), Global Economy Journal (SSCI, Q3), and others.
