Hayri Dagli is the Founder and Director of IDEA Universal (International Development and Environment Assosiation), a global development organization using innovation to re-imagine a world where everyone has access to sustainable water, food, education and energy. Hayri dedicated seven years, bringing innovative and holistic solutions to 500.000 people in Asia and Africa with the help of individual donors and international organizations like the United Nations, Red Cross, World Bank, and WHO. During his journey, he experienced living under a dollar a day in tribal communities in Africa to understand the living conditions of millions of people living below the poverty line. Hayri has been recognized in Campaign Magazine and MediaCat as an inspiring leader and has given talks on mainstream media such as TRT, Haber, Hürriyet and CNN. His life story was highlighted in TRT documentary named, “Water Walk”. He serves as a jury member of Hult Prize and is a member of the Entrepreneurs Expert Network of the World Economic Forum. He writes for variety of magazine publications such as AD HOC and Hürriyet on topics ranging from sustainability, travel to global development and innovation.
