As a director at one of the pioneering company in skatepark design, construction and operations, I was part of the executive marketing and sales team, supporting our staff as they planned, designed and construted action sports facilities around the world. What I really loved about this job was creating positive spaces for youth that encourage personal development and physical fitness. In my customer-facing roles, I worked with civic leaders and corporate clients to develop permanent and special event projects, from the initial feasibility studies through design/build onto operations and revenue management. This work included leading public involvement workshops, developing RFP responses, collaborating with landscape architects and coordinating technical engineering work.
