Haythem is a researcher, trainer and project coordinator.He worked in several organizations at the local and international levels from a young age. Later, he co-founded and chaired some associations, federations and networks in Europe and the Arab region.He also worked in the League of Arab States (LAS) in coordinating the LAS Youth Forum which multiplied into a framework of youth activities in the region. and acted as a freelance trainer on topics related to youth, civil society, sustainable development intercultural dialogue and human rights education, currently, he is member of the pool of trainers on the youth of the Council of Europe.His university study background is in Accounting and Business Administration with previous work experience in the Stock Market helped him with a wider perspective from a corporate point of view within the civil society activities.He holds a PhD degree from the University of Luxembourg with a focus on research on the integration of Arab refugees in Luxembourg and a Master's degree from the University of Luxembourg, with a research topic on Intercultural competencies in non-formal educational contexts.Through his civil youth activities, Haythem received several awards and fellowships, including the Euro-Med Youth Award from the European Commission, the Chevening Fellowship at the University of Glasgow, UK and the UNAoC Fellowship program.Specialities: Youth, Sustainable Development, Non-Formal Education, Intercultural Dialogue, Civil Society, Human Rights Education, Networking, Lobbying and Advocacy.
