- Developed a streamlined backend system for creating NGN (Nigerian Naira) virtual accounts which entails establishing robust database structures and implementing APIs to manage account creation and obtaining balance- Seamlessly integrated with a third-party API, allowing users to purchase a variety of utilities, including airtime, data bundles, electricity, and cable TV. This integration facilitated seamless transactions and extended our utility offerings.- Implemented a general overhaul of the backend code that improved overall system performance, security, and maintainability. This included code optimizations, database query enhancements.- Established a continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline on a Digital Ocean droplet by utilizing GitHub Actions runners.

I was the Backend Team Lead of my team (Team V-ARENA). We built a game arena where users can create their NFTs and send it down to our wallet to fight other NFTs. I worked on the main logic of interacting with the Chia Blockchain (minting NFTs, Retrieving NFTs, Updating NFTs, Sending NFTs to the arena).
