I have helped global organizations and institutions strengthen bilateral cooperation in education, culture, and public policy. As Executive Director of the U.S.-Mexico Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange, COMEXUS (Fulbright-García Robles Commission, Mexico), I have led efforts to expand academic exchange opportunities, creating 13 new programs and managing an annual budget of over $8M USD. Additionally, I secured $8.5M USD in additional funding by fostering partnerships between the public and private sectors.My motivation stems from a deep passion for international collaboration, equity in education, and fostering mutual understanding through cultural exchange. My experience includes organizational leadership, cross-border partnership development, and resource optimization, with proven results, such as reducing costs by over $1.2M USD through process improvements.My academic background, which includes a Fulbright grant and a master’s degree in Political Science from Boston College, complements my experience in leading strategic initiatives in multicultural and complex environments.
