I completed my Bachelor’s in Applied Educational Studies at National Louis University. I am a lead teacher working with a toddler class ages 2-3 years old at Northwestern Settlement. As a lead teacher, I can see where students need support, enabling fun activities through play or group projects. I also communicate well with my assistant and other teaching assistants to support a team atmosphere, even with families.I had the privilege in 2019- 2020 to intern to become a part of an ECE program by joining an Early Childhood internship in September through my high school, Noble Street College Prep. Through this experience, I recognized my passion for working with kids and gained experience and knowledge on child development, teaching strategies, and behavior management. I am committed to providing students with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. I welcome the opportunity to support any classroom and teachers while adding to my experience.I love getting as much experience as possible while meeting new people and building my network.
