Initial 12month apprenticeship progressed to managing pattern work for a large company account; translated design into first pattern; amended patterns through the sealing process into production. Assessed fabric suitability and ensured garments were fit for purpose, advising fusings / tapes tailored to each product and help improve or account for seam slippage and shrinkage where required. Reviewed and measured samples to maintain high standards of the brand. Hosted fit meetings to build strong customer relationships and maintain confidence with the supplier, facilitating significant growth of the account.
