Coordinate, develop and implement the ABCCEDP in assigned public health health areas/counties in an effective manner so that the screening and diagnostic follow-up services are rendered to eligible patients and screening goals for the area are achieved as evidenced by program reports. This includes effective, appropriate, accurate and timely communicatin with the county health department mangement and staff, the general public and healthcare providers, respond to inquiries regarding program eligibility, enrollment, provider sites and services. Develop and implement local protocol, based on program guidelines, nursing protocol and CDC requirements,as necessary to accommodate unique local circumstances such as the presence of CDC target populations, provider network gaps and the like. Researches unique circumstances, devises protocol, consults with Program Director and implement approved protocol at the local level. Contact and recruit qualified medical providers and maintain existing providers to provide ABCCEDP services in the assigned geographic area. Develop a provider education program. Train providers and staff ,to ensure only eligible women are screened; diagnostic follow-up is timely, clinical protocols are followed; CDCand program forms are accurately completed. Program providers are properly trained as evidenced by reports and review and without cmplaints to supervisor.Intitiates and collaborates with local community groups, organizations and out reach partners as needed.
