My remit was to direct operations of the training service center compliant with statutory regulations. I led a team of 60 trainers and six Duty Managers, managingmy team's performance, absence and enforcing the ill health policy. I prepared the training and facilities budget including the annual forecast. I supervised maintenance of the training center facility, safeguarding trainees and the training program with health and safety audit investigations. I oversaw delivery of training and line management of 300 trainees transferred to me for the durationof the four-week program. In this leadership role, I spearheaded delivery of operational excellence and led a team of 10 Crew Performance Managers at the airline's largest and busiest base. I facilitated HR procedures including settingflexible working arrangements, disciplinary matters, complaints, and investigations. I coordinated monthly base meetings including drafting the agenda and arranging guest speakers from other departments to broaden staff knowledge of the scope of operations.
