As an Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, I provided direct support and assistance to the Superintendent and Board, in the management and leadership of the school district and all related duties and responsibilities. My support and assistance included, but was not limited to, the performance of clerical tasks; drafting or developing correspondence and other materials (hard copy as well as electronic copy); and disseminating or collecting information to or from all appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

Under the direction of the School Principal, I was responsible for assisting the school principal in the planning, organization, coordination, administration, and management of an assigned school’s activities and programs, including curriculum, instruction, assessment and student conduct and attendance. Assisted with the supervision and evaluation of assigned staff, creating a safe environment, monitoring budget development and other duties associated with the successful operation of a school.

I performed a wide array of administrative accounting tasks that allowed our company to keep track of expenses and forecast future performance. My primary duties involved preparing and examining financial reports, with an eye on accuracy and compliance.
