On a quest to discover my ikigai and forge a meaningful career, I tenaciously ventured into Sustainability and Social Impact, overcoming hurdles tied to not coming from a directly related academic background and a lack of industry connections. Now, leveraging on my journey, I am committed to making green careers accessible to youths through my podcast, Kickstarting a Green Career, featured by notable organisations like Channel News Asia (CNA) and OCBC.Presently, I am a Partnership Executive at Mentoring SG. In my role, I am like the bridge in the mentoring world, connecting Corporations, Schools/ Youth Groups, and Mentoring Organisations with each other to boost collaboration and collectively build up the Singapore mentoring ecosystem.Previously, I was driving Sustainability and Communications with a focus on Sustainability Reporting, Building Internal Capacity and Employee Engagement in companies like Accenture, Zalora and Singtel, which has enabled me to cultivate these skills:- Understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks - Internal capacity building to enhance employees’ knowledge of Sustainability - Strong research, stakeholder and project management skills Dedicated to continuous professional development, I have completed these courses and programs in 2023: - Awarded a fully sponsored position at the University of Cambridge for the Paris Agreement, Sustainable Development and Law course- Shortlisted to be a part of EB Impact’s Sustainability Media Academy Season 2 cohort - Green Ambassador Program by the People’s Association I hold a Bachelor's in Communications with a Minor in Business and graduated Top 2 of my cohort.Beyond work, I am actively volunteering as a Youth Panel Member with the National Youth Council (NYC), collaborating with government agencies to co-create policies for Singapore and part of the Partnership and Social Impact Team at Young Women's Leadership Connection (YWLC).My diverse interests encompass Social Mobility, Youth Empowerment, Mental Health, Climate Change, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
