Developed Competencies in Programme Evaluation & Capability Development in my short but nevertheless, eye-opening stint at MHA. Projects included: (A) Strengthen whole-of-Home Team Programme Evaluation competencies i) Brainstorm and implement initiatives to raise the HT’s competency levels for Programme Evaluation (an assessment of costs against the benefits/outcomes of projects) within the Home Team. ii) As the HT is in a nascent stage of development in Programme Evaluation, this may include creating collaterals (e.g. EDMs, posters, etc) to broadcast short snippets of Programme Evaluation guidelines to MHA officers, in bite-sized, easily digestible formats; and other methods to raise awareness and implement desired Programme Evaluation practices.(B) Interventions to address bottlenecks in capability developmenti) Work with Home Team Department stakeholders (e.g. SPF, SCDF, HTX) to brainstorm interventions against pre-identified capability development bottlenecks, which are based on quantitative data from our ICT system and qualitative data from stakeholder feedback. ii) Explore means to shorten operationalisation timelines of projects across the Home Team.iii) Minimise administrative processes, cut unnecessary processes, and focus on processes that add value to desired outcomes.

Helmed the position as part of the Main Committee of BlackBox Interest Group AY23/24, my responsibilities as Head of Outreach (Aviation Interest) include the following: - Public Speaking to large crowds during Open Houses AY22, 23 & 24- Event Planning for Outreach Sessions with Secondary schools- Event Execution & Coordination for mass events - Data Collection & Analytics for Freshmen Survey- Working closely with Staff Advisors
