A highly qualified physiotherapist with 16 years experience, and currently affiliated with the best providers of Private Healthcare in the Middle East and other parts of the world. Previously worked in two of the largest trauma units in the world, working alongside the best trauma Surgeons and Intensivists. I later joined the specialised cardiothoracic unit at Christian Barnard Hospital named after the South African surgeon who performed the first human heart transplant operation, providing physiotherapy services to post-cardiac bypass, post valve replacements and heart transplant adult and paediatric patients. Additionally, I provided rehabilitative survices in acute and sub-acute settings post elective surgeries of the hip, knee, shoulders, etc.My passion for improving patient's outcomes encouraged me to pursue a Master’s degree with a thesis focusing on the rehabilitative needs of patients with neurological conditions. My current pursuit is a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy with special focus on the rehabilitative needs of patients with Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS).
