Working closely with the senior leadership team across the business as well as the Board of Directors this role supports the current acquisition strategy from an operational finance perspective; from the due diligence process through to completion and finally to migration onto group systems and integration into our reporting.• Attendance at integration meetings to help drive decision making and ensure implications on both finance and the wider central functions are identified, understood and acceptable before they are approved.• Attendance post completion at acquisition sites to meet the team and review finance processes and controls. Ensuring that group can gain oversight and where appropriate control of the newly acquired entity. This involves a review of all financial controls, processes and team members within the acquired business.• Collaborate and build relationships with the incumbent management structure and acquired finance team to ensure a smooth handover process• Involvement in the banking switchover from current banking mandates to Group mandate and ensuring that Group have full oversight and control of all acquisition bank accounts.• Document and challenge the controls and processes in place at newly acquired sites to determine if they are sufficient or if they differ from Group.• Review and challenge monthly management accounts production and compare to acquisition budget.• Ensuring the smooth transition of accounting procedures from the newly acquired entity into our accounting system and our group reporting post integration.• Successfully integrate the results and budgets of acquired companies into the Group’s monthly management accounts pack, ensuring acquired company’s accounting package is set up to enable reporting in line with Group chart of accounts.

Oversight of the management accounting function for all divisions as well as responsibility for the payroll team. Reporting directly into the Finance Director this role works closely with central service divisional heads and other support functions within the Group and the CFO.Also Finance Lead on the system implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across 51 legal entities in a 9 month delivery time from discovery to Go Live. • Developing and managing the Finance team with overall responsibility for the month end processes and ensuring financial and commercial leadership with respect to delivering targets.• Responsible for the month end accounts delivery for both our insurance broker and offshore insurer, working closely with outsourcing partner to report on a timely basis. • Ensuring completion of the monthly accounts in accordance with the group timetable, to include detailed profit and loss commentaries for the divisional heads.• Maintaining close control of the balance sheets and ensuring that reconciliations are completed monthly.• Working closely with the Compliance Department and Directors with respect to CASS compliance for our FCA regulated business and key oversite role in the client money reconciliation process. • Responsibility for the successful delivery of the annual audit – including ensuring deadlines for deliverables are met and supporting the audit lead.• Responsibility for the delivery of the CASS audit.• Production of draft year end Statutory Accounts and audit files.• Lead budget process to ensure a detailed bottom up annual budget is produced based on KPI and trend data
