Duties include managing and analyzing maternal mortality data; informing the efforts of Georgia’s Maternal Mortality Review Committee by identifying potentially pregnancy-associated deaths using data from multiple sources (e.g., vital records, obituaries, notifiable disease reports); and assisting in quality improvement efforts to improve the health provider’s completion of death certificates.
