I am a writer of short stories and poetry, I love doing performance poetry, especially the monologues written by Marriot Edgar, everyone will remember The Lion and Albert performed by Stanley Unwin. My first novel 'Our Ede' was published in hardback in October 2016 and in paperback June 2017. I am currently working on a sequel. My first children's book 'Poppy Wants to Bake a Cake' was published in May 2017 and my next book 'Poppy is Lost in the Garden' was published in July 2019. My books are available on the internet, all major book stores and from the publisher Black Wolf & Edition Publishing Company.I enjoy going to schools and nurseries and reading my Poppy stories, I also go to Literature Festivals and read after which I have a craft session based on which story I read.With my adult fiction, I read excerpts from the book and relate some of the history of Leeds in the era the story is set. Plus my own inspiration leading me to write the novel in the first place.Distance no object if you would like me to come along to your group.After a difficult 2020, for every one of us, I am pleased to say the sequel to 'Our Ede' has been published in 2021. I am also working on a third childrens book 'Poppy meets Benji' watch this space.
