Responsibilities include:• Preparation of tender documents, including exciting activation ideas, for National & Regional UK on-trade customer partners, which involves working closely with the Category Management team to build compelling and tailored brand stories. In 2022, this work resulted in several new listings for our brands and most notably, a significant agreement was secured with one of the UKs largest pub groups. • Lead activation discussions with customer partners and frequently present brand & activation plans to On-Trade, Specialist & Amazon buyers, maintaining positive relationships to keep our brands front of mind and unlock new opportunities.• Work closely with the On-Trade independent free trade team, particularly in the luxury sector, to produce bespoke activation plans and serve strategies. A key part of this element of the role is to guide sales teams on a well-consolidated distribution strategy, to ensure our luxury brand investments are focused where the target consumer will be reached. • Successful execution and implementation of the secured activation plans and events which encompasses a host of tasks ranging from content & ad creation, to store window & bar/hotel visibility design.
Assistant Brand Manager - The Dalmore
After a successful 2 years as Brand Executive, in 2020 I was promoted to the role of Assistant Brand Manager, where I was able to build on my experience and take ownership over a host of projects.Responsibilities included:• Lead several new product implementation (NPI) projects across all aspects of the process from building an initial concept case to sell-in to internal senior stakeholders, and independently leading discussions with international market teams on launch plans.• Provide support to the Channel Marketing team to successfully deliver the annual Paterson Society event, engaging influential London on-trade guests. In 2018 & 2019, I played a key role throughout the planning process of these events, and during the events themselves, demonstrated my ability to remain calm and considered in demanding situations.• Work collaboratively with the Channel Marketing team and UK Commercial (Specialist) team on an ongoing basis to create and execute activations in key retailers and engage and inspire customers. In 2020, this involved designing a bespoke landing page on Harrods.com and building an online activation plan for the annual Distillery Exclusive release. In addition, in 2019, I worked alongside the Channel Marketing Manager to redesign an in-store display in Harrods which involved developing a concept and design brief, negotiating budget, and closely monitoring logistics to ensure a feasible solution was developed.• Act as a confident brand advocate, host, and representative at a number of events in the UK and abroad, building rapport and positive relationships with customers, distributors, bartenders, journalists and international colleagues.

As a high investment key brand initiative in 2018, I had to demonstrate strong project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of the project. • Working with the central communications team and a range of agencies to create a suite of assets for market adoption including retail.com material, e-commerce material and content to support multiple global campaigns. • Monitoring and managing the global strategic budget on a daily basis to ensure effective management of spend, and identifying opportunities for savings. • Working with international market team and internal departments to effectively provide and maintain a solution for all global brand assets using the Bynder portal.

With a team of over 50 staff and a function capacity of 1000 guests, good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team was essential.
Swimming Instructor
I was a competitive swimmer as a youngster and as a progression from this, I achieved the Teaching Aquatics coaching qualification. Making Waves is Scotland’s largest independent swimming school, with an innovative and well-structured teaching programme. The aim of the programme is for children and parents to discover the physical, psychological and social benefits of swimming. My responsibilities as an instructor include:• Safety and control of classes up to six children, ranging from ages 3-10. I teach in the water with younger, non-swimmers and with older, more confident swimmers I control the class from poolside. • Analysing the ability of new swimmers and selecting which exercise will work most effectively on them.• Conduct regular assessments to track each child’s progress.• Be comfortable in situations with hysterical children who are terrified of the water. I must work to gradually improve a child’s water confidence each lesson with appropriate exercises, demonstrations and conversations with the child. • More recently, I have been given the responsibility of leading classes for children with both physical and mental special needs. • Communicate with parents of swimmers to discuss what they can practice with their child and answer any questions they have about the swimming programme.
Camp Counsellor
I was very lucky to spend 9 weeks in the summer months of 2015 working at Camp Hi-Rock as a camp counsellor in Massachusetts, USA. This mixed gender camp is a branch of the YMCA and allows children from under-privileged backgrounds to enjoy the summer camp experience and learn skills they would not otherwise have the chance to learn. Some children who attend this camp come from homeless or abusive families and due to their difficult home life, many campers have attention deficient disorders and tough personalities. Working at Camp Hi-Rock was a truly rewarding experience which I will have an ever-lasting attachment to. My responsibilities included:• Living with a cabin of ten 11-12-year-old girls and ensuring they were prepared for and attended their daily schedule.• Monitoring the behaviour of the girls in my cabin to ensure that they were comfortable and enjoying themselves.• Working as part of the lifeguard team on the busy waterfront most days to ensure the safety of campers and staff. This role included monitoring campers pre-assessed swimming levels and ensuring they did not enter a water depth deemed unfit for their ability. • Preparing and delivering swimming lessons with an aim to significantly improve children’s swimming ability in the short period they were at camp.• Preparing and delivering activities and games for campers to enjoy during an allocated time slot each day. • Be a point of contact on 'check-in days'. This included assisting parents complete the required paperwork, welcoming campers to their new home and being a friendly, reassuring face for both parents and campers who were saying their goodbyes.• Being confident handling situations where a child was feeling homesick, being bullied or expressing sensitive information about their troubled home-life.
Programme Vendor
In July 2014, I was part of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, selling programmes. I was mainly based at the SECC Precinct experiencing the atmosphere and high spirits of spectators at the Gymnastics, Boxing, Netball, Weightlifting and Wrestling events. I was also very lucky to have been able to work at the opening and closing ceremonies at Celtic Park and Hampden. This job has given me experience dealing with cash sales and being responsible for large amounts of money. It has also given me experience dealing with the public in a busy environment. The Commonwealth Games was an incredible event to have been a part of.
