" and "" Hazel attending the Multipliers workshop last week has created an instant transformation in my Leadership style with immediate results based on implementation of my learning experience with you. Firstly I shared with the team an executive summary of the workshop and acknowledged that I have been an accidental diminisher in terms of my leadership style thus far & my desire to take immediate action to spend more time as a multiplier. I shared that with immediate effect I relinquish 51 % of decision making to empower them. This in itself helped each team member take ownership of decisions being made & relieved me of pressure & valuable time that I can now utilize for personal use of professionally for thinking & strategizing on the business. We scheduled a debate at the month end and they loved the idea of me having chips of numbers being the time in seconds for my input in asking great questions to stimulate the conversation in the right direction and giving the space & time for each member to fully participate & contribute. Instead of giving answers easily, I have asked questions to help each team member discover the answers for themselves helping them realise that they have more talent within themselves than they realised and than I had not tapped into in the past. A great wake call for both of us. I have scheduled a 30 minute session with each team member this week whereby I will only ask questions with no statements or comments by me. I will use this to deactivate my previous default with an auto mechanism of making statements, interrupting or answering questions. I will use the questions to help me & each team member uncover their true natural genius. Last but not least as a team we all watched the movie Forever Strong that you highly recommended and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the ruthless diminisher coach versus the inspirational multiplier coach. The added bonus in learning for all of us was seeing the transformation in passion, engagement, inspiration & action by one specific team player who was first coached by a diminisher and then by a multiplier.
