About Hazel Stone Frsa

An award winning curator with over 15 years of experience in the arts sector, I am a passionate and innovative National Curator of Contemporary Art at Forestry England, where I develop and deliver artistic programmes that engage emerging and established artists with the natural world. With a specialism in site specific art, I managed one of the UK's largest outdoor art collections and commissioning programmes, supporting talent development and engagement programmes. With fundraising experience I have designed a number of innovative partnership projects which connect audiences with climate change, biodiversity and well being through the contemporary art. Selected projects include the Digital Forest funded by the Art Fund, Curating Climate and Nature Now funded by Arts Council England. Key exhibitions I have curated include David Nash: Return to the Forest, Women in Forestry: the Story of the Luberjills, David Smith a Survey of Works and Naiza Khan the Manora Project. I am driven by the mission of enhancing the public's appreciation and understanding of the natural environment and its importance for our well-being and sustainability. I am always eager to learn, collaborate, and explore new ideas and opportunities that can enrich the arts and forestry sectors.

Listed skills include Contemporary Art, Galleries, Fine Art, Art, and 30 others.
