At Baxter I drove the commercial launch of a new sustainability platform including two customer recycling programs to support Baxter's leadership position in creating value for customers and product stewardship. One program is for 500+ renal patients at home recycling dialysis fluid bags and the other for 60+ hospitals recycling intravenous fluid bags. This was a hybrid role involving working closely with marketing to develop strategy and collateral, and with the commercial team to identify targets and obtain commitment to exclusive purchasing as a result of our recycling services.

Responsible for delivering high quality, patient-centred care to cancer patients from diagnosis and active treatment to palliative care, in collaboration with medical and allied health staff.

The REACH Clinic is Australia's first interdisciplinary health service launched and managed by volunteer healthcare students. Volunteers undertake both clinical and administrative services such as volunteer recruitment, community engagement, training and evaluation. As the Director of Reach I led approximately 60 volunteers in strategic planning, governance and execution up to and including the launch of the REACH Clinic. Key Achievements• Grew volunteer membership from 8 to over 60 volunteers• Led the REACH volunteer executive team • Developed the support of the University of Melbourne and our community partner, cohealth• Drove strategic and operational planning of REACH governance, and training/clinical services• Was awarded approximately $100K from the Workforce Innovation Grant Program by the Department of Health, Victoria and the Student Engagement Grants Program at the University of Melbourne.Additionally, REACH was subsequently awarded the Minister for Health’s Award for achieving a highly capable and engaged workforce in 2014.
