In this role I work in 3 primary verticals. I work with our Investment Research, Sales and Marketing teams to provide timely investment research and content to our financial advisor partners and their clients. I regularly interact with financial advisors to provide investment, financial market and economic research, analysis, insights and outlooks. I answer questions relating to our investment process, holdings, and risk-management approach, and present information on these and other investment topics in webinars/calls and one on one meetings with advisors and their clients. As a member of our fund research team I conduct manager research and due diligence on US domiciled open-ended mutual funds and ETFs, with designated primary analyst coverage in the areas of Fixed Income and shared responsibilities for Infrastructure, Real Asset, Commodity and Natural Resource funds. I am responsible for making recommendations to add or remove funds to our approved hire list in my areas of coverage and to conduct ongoing reviews and due diligence on existing funds. As a member of our Faith-Based Investment Team I participate in all aspects of the investment process for our Faith-Based investment strategies, including fund/manager research and screening, reviewing output from our fund optimization process and weighing in on proposed trades. I work with the other members of the team to develop and maintain our Faith-Based investment criteria and screening methodology, process, and policies, and help in their implementation.

In this role I was responsible for all aspects of firm compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) including composite construction and maintenance, composite performance reporting, and taking the lead in providing data items and reports in conjunction with our annual GIPS Verification process.I was also responsible for conducting performance attribution analysis and answering performance related questions from clients and financial advisors.

Helped determine and assess relative credit-risk and credit-worthiness of public and private companies in conjunction with the assignment of public and private credit ratings to these companies and their respective debt instruments. Made recommendations to credit rating committees on the assignment of credit ratings to various issuers and their debt instruments.

I assisted in various residential and commercial construction projects, including pouring concrete, building houses and buildings, re-modeling existing buildings, etc. This position helped me to develop more attention to detail and increase my knowledge of construction tasks and safety procedures.

I assisted in performing due diligence on (then) current and prospective asset managers, conducted financial analysis, and helped collect/analyze data using various software programs including Excel and Bloomberg. I also helped provide up to date information regarding manager performance.

I conducted various field and laboratory tests on multiple construction aggregates, such as concrete, asphalt, and various soils. In addition, I completed technical reports based on field and laboratory tests I conducted. I communicated results in a timely manner to contractors and supervisors. Skills gained from this position include increased attention to detail and enhanced verbal communication skills. This position helped strengthen my knowledge in the fields of Civil Engineering, Geology, and Construction.
