About Nor Hazilawati Awang

Nor Hazilawati Awang or Hazila, is currently the Chief Information Officer at HeiTech Padu Berhad. Graduated from Liverpool John Moores University,UK, with First Class Degree Honours in Computer Studies, she later joined Sime Darby as a System Analyst in 1997. She obtained her MSc in Computer Science (Real time Software Engineering) from Center of Advanced Software Engineering, UTM in 2002. Hazila completed her PhD in 2014.Hazila’s main interests are in software research and development. She has published a number of articles in local and international publications. Hazila is one of the appointed technical committee member of SIRIM’s Software Engineering Technical Committee (TC11) since 2003. She was appointed as the industrial advisor ( Software Engineering) for Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, UniKL, UiTM Perlis, Universiti Malaysia Sabah , Universiti Islam Selangor and Universiti Putra Malaysia. Hazila is also a mentor appointed by MBOT for its REDLips Mentoring Program. Specialties: Software architecture, Enterprise software solution, middleware, system integration
