The AppSec agents are able to detect security vulnerabilities and actual attack payloads in web applications at runtime. Some of the detected attack vectors: SQL injections, XSS, Path Traversals, Cookie and SSL misconfigurations...★ Maintaining the back end services and implementing some of them including the 3rd party vulnerability system which stores the latest package vulnerabilities and matches them against registered client apps to notify them of possible risks★ Replacing Kafka Connect sinks with Kafka consumers using Spring Boot for better performance★ Setting up CI/CD pipelines to automate integration testing when using the agents with different frameworks -and versions- in their respective programming languages (e.g. for Python: Django, Flask...)

Orolix was a company with headquarters in Palo Alto, and offices in Sao Paulo and Beirut. It started off as an ISP and Portal selling prepaid mobile top-ups and offering a connection manager for 3G Modems. This software solution was called Orolix Communicator and it served more than 1 million users across Brazil.My job was mostly on the server side and allowed me to work on the following projects:★ The company website that offers free downloads of the Orolix Communicator★ The Portal website used by the Orolix Communicator users to check their connection usage and statistics.★ Customizable Anti- Fraud solution using a rules engine (Drools) and configurable rule files defined using the rules DSL.
