I currently work as a Sales Assistant in an internationally recognised luxury book and antique store. The store is located in the heart of Piccadilly Circus and attracts a high volume of affluent individuals. I have built up a sizeable network of contacts, and I feel comfortable interacting with clients from various backgrounds and nationalities. My main responsibilities entail providing the best customer experience from the moment the client walks through the door to the moment they leave with a purchase. I regularly contact my client book to inform them of new product arrivals, and I am measured against my breadth of sales. I am also responsible for balancing the finances at the end of every trading day. My favourite part of the role is communicating with the general public and assisting them to find their perfect purchase.

My role entailed me being the front line point of contact for the Fitness First brand by greeting and interacting with all customers who used the state of the art gym equipment and facilities. I would proactively strike conversations with club members to understand their fitness and personal goals. I would then refer the customer onto a member of the highly qualified team to best serve their health and lifestyle requirements. I personally helped numerous clients achieve their ultimate goals through my open and customer centric approach. It was my experience working in Fitness First which made me realise that I wanted to pursue a career in the fitness industry.

This was an exciting job working for the fashion brand Lanvin, which is one of France's oldest couture houses still in operation. Working as a Saleswoman for the brand, I combined my enthusiasm for fashion and my natural customer service skills to offer all clients the finest of experiences when walking into the Lanvin store. When new fashion collections were released I would decide which lines to stock in the store to match our cliental. I had my own client book which I would contact on a regular basis to update on new collections that had arrived in the store. I was measured against a personal sales target to help the store achieve an annual revenue and profit target.

Working for a highly regarded US fashion brand like Theory gave me the ability to use contemporary fashion lines, which were sophisticated and modern however still comfortable for the client. This allowed me to experiment more so than I could with a high end fashion label and developed my creative capacity. I achieved the highest sales target in the store due to my exceptional customer service and attention to detail. I took pride in understanding fashion trends around the world. In one instance the window I dressed was recognised off our Regional Manager and presented in a fashion magazine
