Compassion and the desire to better patient's daily lives propelled me towards a career as a Physician Assistant. I began my career at Colorado Heart & Vascular in Lakewood, Colorado where I had excellent and rigorous training at St. Anthony’s Hospital, a level I trauma center. The majority of my career has been in Baltimore, Maryland where I moved with my husband for his graduate studies. My first job in Baltimore was at Mercy Medical Center with the Cardiology Department where I worked for three years in both the inpatient and outpatient setting as well as functioning as a main supervisor in the stress lab overseeing exercise and pharmacological stress tests. After three years I became a confident and well-rounded provider and I desired to challenge my learning and searched for new opportunities at facilities that treated more high-risk cardiac patients. This lead me to my current position at Woodholme Cardiovascular Associates at Sinai Hospital, a level I trauma center in the Baltimore area. My responsibilities include evaluating new cardiology consultations in the Emergency Department (ED), medical floor and Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and rounding on these patients in follow up throughout their admission. When not at work I enjoy bike rides with my family, walking our dog, crocheting, and discovering more of Maryland's amazing charm and history.
