I am a management consultant, enjoy solving strategic management problems and helping companies address complicated corporate challenges. I have been practising this profession ever since qualifying as a CA and commencing career at the Management Consultancy Division of A. F. Ferguson & Co. Apart from a 2+ years stint in the capital markets, I have spent about 25+ years in Management Consulting. Leading strategy consulting at Deloitte as a Partner for about 17 years, has given me an inside view of the exciting corporate world. I have advised various clients, both in the private and the government sector. I enjoy strategy and restructuring as much as I do PPP advisory. While my skills are sector agnostic, I am privileged to have more closely worked with the maritime and the power sector, as the all-India Leader of respective verticals at Deloitte, for several years. Having consulted more than 40 seaports I believe I understand this domain pretty well.As the Managing Partner and CEO of Hmsa Consultancy Services LLP since Jan.’ 2014, I lead Hmsa to deliver consulting services across three primary service lines – Strategic Planning, Performance Improvement and Transaction Support. Assisting start-ups and ecommerce projects has given me a fascination for the new breed of emerging businesses and the ways in which, the ask from management is changing. My focus is to help SMEs unlock their value by guiding them to strategically leverage their potential.
