After working 13 years as Founder and Executive Director of Hands On! Children’s Museum, Heather Boeke is now working as a business coach and consultant to share her knowledge and creativity with others through Spark Consulting. Heather enjoys helping open small businesses, guiding business growth by analyzing and developing efficient systems, creating unique customer service opportunities and experiences, and/or working with management teams on an employee training manual to capture the culture and priorities of the organization.“My years creating and leading Hands On! have allowed me to identify my business strengths, and I am eager to help others obtain their vision with my creative thinking and organizational skills. I can ensure a strong foundation is in place in order to help create or grow businesses and community initiatives. After celebrating 13 years as a non-profit organization and 10 years of operations, Heather stepped down as Executive Director to work part-time at Hands On! to allow more family time during her twins' senior year of high school, while creating an independently owned consulting business. Liaise with volunteer board of directors and assist with strategic plan creation and action.Hands On! is a children's museum with the mission of serving the needs of children and families by providing educational exhibits that stimulate the imagination and motivate learning in a fun, safe "hands on" environment. We are located on Main Street in downtown Hendersonville and open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00-5:00.
