Freelance Data and NLP consultant working with:• IBM 2021 - 2022: developed ranking functions for professional résumés (Elasticsearch) incorporating the existing NLU stack (Watson NLP, spacy). Built the evaluation dataset and introduced the team to ranking evaluation methodologies. • Matterlab.com 2019 - 2020: automated text-analysis for Q&A forum conversations related to DynamoBIM - an open source graphical programming tool for architects and designers (with Python, pandas, spaCy, Elasticsearch). Helped the team achieve their goal of automatically determining common causes of user errors in DynamoBIM, as well as finding error message improvements using text data available on public Q&A forums.• Prodsight.ai 2018 - 2019: defined and implemented the NLP strategy at an early-stage start-up (team of 4) focused on extracting insights from customer service chat data. I was an integral part of the entire development process, from NLP pipeline design and data management (with Python, pandas, spaCy, ELK stack, AWS EC2, RDS, Sagemaker) to frontend integration.
