With over a decade of experience in neuroscience, I have dedicated my career to unraveling the complexities of the brain. Currently, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), I focus on understanding the neural circuits involved in fear and decision-making. My work aims to advance our scientific knowledge and contribute to better mental health outcomes.During my time at NIMH, I have honed my skills in research project management, scientific review, and advanced neurobiological techniques. I have developed and characterized innovative behavioral tasks and incorporated cutting-edge methods such as fiber photometry and single-cell calcium imaging. These experiences have equipped me with a robust toolkit for investigating the physiological basis of decision-making and its psychopathology.Beyond my current role, I am passionate about translating scientific discoveries into real-world applications. Whether in academia, industry, or as a consultant or scientific director, I am eager to leverage my expertise to drive innovation and improve mental health.
