I joined the University of Sheffield spin-out company Tribosonics after completing a PhD in tribology. I specialised in ultrasonic measurements of machine elements with the specific focus of my PhD research into design and manufacture of embedded ultrasonic arrays for industrial condition monitoring. I set-up and managed various projects with focus on power generation, transportation, and manufacture. My responsibilities at Tribosonics were to head business development and lead projects with a specific focus on tribological applications; working closely with customers to solve their specific requirements.
